At Vertigo we have constantly striven to present models at the forefront of trial in terms of innovation and ongoing improvements. These new state-of-the-art models have been designed in conjunction with the entire Vertigo technical team. The Nitro DL26 has been developed by Dougie and our experienced R+D team.
The new Nitro DL26 goes the extra mile, taking our passion for producing cutting edge trial bikes and creating what will become the new brand point of reference.
Vertigo Nitro DL26:
The DL26 has a further improved gearbox that was introduced to the Nitro 2026 models. The culmination of many years of work is reflected in the new gearbox. The secondary shaft now has internal lubrication that improves its performance and precision. But the icing on the cake is the new gear selector system, developed internally, which improves not only the feel of the shift but also its precision and reliability.
The new DL26 also receives a complete overhaul of the internal transmission system that will help enhance our users’ experience.
All DL26 come fitted as standard with the new ‘Onboard 0 TPS’ system, which allows injection body maintenance / TPS calibration with a very simple procedure that requires no computer.
The DL26 is equipped with a slow action throttle body and DL maps. These additions enhance the already incredible Vertigo engine.
And that is not all as another feature of the new model is the rear suspension. The two-way Reiger shock absorber delivers superior performance thanks to its new Vertigo-designed linkage system, which was one of the key components in last season’s successes. Having proven its effectiveness, it has now been incorporated into the production series.
The DL26 comes equipped with Kashima Tech forks as standard.
Lastly, the chassis also features machined aluminium brake calipers as well as S3 footpegs, plus a 6mm sump guard. The rims are anodised in black and the hubs are machined in silver.
The trim of these Vertigo DL26 is quite simply, stunning. The snakeskin graphics not only give a racing look, but also protect the swingarm, fork and subframe from scratches and bumps.
The DL26 is available in 250cc and 300cc.
