Jitsie Jacket Glow Core

The Glow Core jacket is Jitsie’s premium performance trials jacket for riders who want warmth, weather protection and reliability in colder conditions. Built from the same high-spec micro-stretch polyester as the Hopper Core jacket but in a heavier 300g/m² fabric, it delivers enhanced insulation while maintaining the freedom of movement trials riding demands.

With a 20.000mm waterproof rating, the fabric withstands sustained heavy rain before water penetrates. Its 8.000 g/m²/24h breathability allows heat and internal moisture to escape, keeping you comfortable rather than clammy. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish ensures water beads off the surface instead of soaking in, preventing saturation and maintaining comfort in wet or muddy conditions.

We chose these high specifications for one reason: cold and unstable weather should not limit a rider’s performance. The heavier 300g/m² fabric provides increased warmth and wind resistance compared to the Hopper Core jacket, making it the ideal jacket for fall/winter training, cold competition mornings or long days on the bike when temperature and wind chill play a bigger role than rain alone.

The Glow Core jacket uses a 3-layer membrane knit soft shell construction. This means the outer face fabric, waterproof membrane and inner lining are bonded together into one durable layer. The result is a warmer, more protective material that blocks wind effectively, resists water penetration and maintains stretch for unrestricted movement. Compared to lighter 2-layer fabrics, the 3-layer softshell feels sturdier, offers better insulation and performs more consistently in cold and variable weather conditions.

To maximise mobility and weather resistance, the Glow Core jacket uses Raglan-style sleeves. By extending diagonally from the collar to the underarm, they eliminate the traditional shoulder seam — one of the most exposed areas on a jacket. Fewer seams mean fewer weak points, better waterproofing and a smoother, more flexible fit for riding.

Ventilation is designed for real-world trials riding. Two large side vents, hidden neatly behind zipped openings, allow you to control airflow instantly. Open the zips when you need cooling and air moves freely through the jacket; keep them closed when the temperature drops to stay warm. This balance between breathable fabric and rider-controlled vents helps maintain comfort in changing weather and varying levels of effort.

A key feature of the Glow Core is its detachable hood. Designed for quick, hassle-free removal, it provides protection from wind and rain when walking sections, waiting in the queue or moving around the paddock. When it’s time to ride, simply detach it for a clean, distraction-free fit under the helmet.

All zippers are premium YKK, chosen for their smooth, dependable performance in wet, muddy and cold environments. Integrated minimalist pulls prevent flapping and keep the jacket streamlined during riding.

The Glow Core jacket includes multiple rider-focused pockets:

• an upper left arm scorecard pocket, designed for digital scorecards that can be scanned through the fabric
• a left chest scorecard pocket, positioned so the rider can hold the clutch with the left hand and access the card with the right — fast and ergonomic during events
• two side pockets, slightly enlarged for tools, gloves or small essentials while preventing items from shifting during movement

For extra protection in harsh terrain, the jacket is finished with an extended rear drop tail, cut longer to keep mud and water from entering the top of your pants — a small detail that makes a big difference in wet or winter environments.
